Armed men attack Philippine Army detachment in Maguindanao

A group of armed men staged an attack against a Philippine Army detachment in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao on Wednesday evening, according to a report on Unang Balita on Thursday.

The attack happened at past 9 p.m. 

The armed men exchanged gunfire with Army soldiers for 10 minutes. 

No one was hurt in the incident.

Meanwhile, at around 9 p.m. Wednesday also, another armed group of 30 men fired at Army soldiers patrolling an area in Datu Salibo, Maguindanao.

No injuries were reported likewise in the second incident. —KG, GMA News
