2 killed, 1 critically injured in CamSur road crash

Two persons were killed and one was critically injured in a tricycle-bus crash in Camarines Sur Wednesday night.

Local disaster response officials said that a passenger bus rammed a tricycle with three people in it, instantly killing two and critically injuring a third one.

The incident happened on Andaya Highway, Barangay GRS in Ragay town in Camarines Sur at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Ragay police office said that a CUL Transport bus unit coming from Manila and heading for Bicol, rammed the tricycle as it was crossing an intersection.

Two of the passengers were killed on the spot while a third one, who is in critical condition, is now confined at a hospital in Ragay.

Police said that the crash area is accident prone, and that an investigation into the accident is ongoing. —Peewee Bacuño/LBG/KVD, GMA News
