3 pawikan freed after being caught in nets in Antique

Fishermen in Antique province freed three green sea turtles who had been caught in their nets on Sunday.

GMA News stringer Peewee Bacuño said the fishermen of Poblacion, Laua-an immediately removed the net and let the sea turtles return to the sea.

The fishermen knew that the sea creatures should not be caught or, worse, killed.

They hoped that other citizens should give importance to these endangered sea turtles.
