Taytay Municipal Hall suspends ops due to bomb threat

The municipal hall of Taytay, Rizal received a bomb threat on Friday morning, police said.

Taytay’s civil security office received a bomb threat at 9:05 a.m., prompting authorities to suspend all transactions at the municipal hall, according to a report by Rod Vega on Super Radyo dzBB.

Authorities also ordered people out of the building as the Philippine National Police conducted clearing operations in the area.

Taytay’s civil security unit has reportedly not given more information, while a check with the municipal police station revealed that police forces have not yet given feedback nor returned from their operations at the site of the bomb threat. — Nicole-Anne C. Lagrimas/RSJ, GMA News
