SSS employee shot dead at her gasoline station in Quezon

An employee of the Social Security System who owns a gasoline refilling station in Quezon province was shot dead by a lone gunmen on Sunday night.

Police identified the victim as Expectacion Baldeo, also a lawyer and a resident of Tiaong, Quezon.

Investigators said Baldeo was talking to an employee at her gas station in Barangay Lalig when the lone gunmen approached them and shot the victim dead. The incident happened at past 6 p.m.

Police said that according to Baldeo's employees, the gunman casually walked away from the scene after shooting the victim at least three times.

Authorities said Baldeo was the wife of former Quezon provincial board member Regore Baldeo, who was also killed in a shooting incident.

Police have yet to identify Baldeo's shooter. —report from Peewee Bacuño/ALG, GMA News
