Drug suspects nabbed, P150k worth suspected shabu seized in Maguindanao

Two drug suspects were arrested and 20 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated by the police after a search warrant was issued on Tuesday.

Datu Odin Sinsuat Municipal station personnel, Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), and Intelligence Branch PNP Provincial Office served a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 13 Judge Bansawan Ibrahim in Cotabato City.

The suspects were identified as Kutin A Guiamal alias Kutin Manongal, who is considered a high value target, and  Jenny Guiamil alias Jen.

Officials seized the following items: four sachets or 20 grams of suspected shabu with estimated value of P150,000; a 9mm Luger Modster pistol, and non-drug items.

PNP ARMM Regional Director Police Chief Superintendent Graciano Mijares said the suspects are in the custody of the PDEA ARMM as investigators continue to work on the case. — Merlyn Manos/BAP, GMA News
