Analyst Heydarian’s take on ISIS and MILF

GMA resident analyst Richard Heydarian on Thursday said the Philippines should not underestimate the resilience of terrorist groups even if the military battle of Marawi has been won.

Heydarian said the leadership of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front is concerned that if there is no progress in the peace process with the government, its more hard-line supporters may join the terror group ISIS.

With the administration's priority being federalism, there is dissatisfaction even in the ranks of MILF, he said.
