WATCH: Pacquiao thanks fans for support, prayers on eve of bout

On the eve of his bout with Chris Algieri, Filipino boxing icon and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao thanked his fans for their prayers and support.

 

Pacquiao will face Algieri in Macau Sunday for the World Boxing Organization welterweight title.

 

"Salamat sa lahat na mga fans na laging nakasuporta at nagdasal. Salamat sa inyong lahat. God bless you," he said, in a video posted on the Instagram account of GMA News' Connie Sison.

Earlier Saturday, both Pacquiao and Algieri made the 144-pound weight limit, though Algieri needed two additional tries to do so.
