Afternoon welcome, motorcade readied for Pacquiao in GenSan

An afternoon welcome and motorcade await boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao in General Santos City when he arrives from Macau Monday afternoon.

 

As of Monday morning, a float was readied for Pacquiao outside the General Santos City Hall, GMA Davao's Marlon Palma Gil reported on GMA News' Unang Balita.

 

The truck carrying the float is the same Pacquiao has used in past motorcades, the report said.

 

Pacquiao is expected to arrive in General Santos City Monday afternoon. He is to head for Sarangani for a press conference.

 

On Sunday, Pacquiao dominated Chris Algieri and won via unanimous decision.
