Farmers blast proposed House bill restructuring tobacco excise tax
Tobacco farmers from all over the Ilocos Region hold a protest rally in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur on Wednesday to denounce a proposed House bill that will restructure tobacco excise tax. The farmers claim the bill, if passed, could kill the tobacco industry.
