Davao activists want mining law scrapped
Activists rally in Davao City on Tuesday to criticize the PHL Mining Act which allegedly facilitated the country's sell-out of mineral resources to foreign large-scale mining firms. The protesters also urged the enactment of a 'People's Mining Bill' which they tagged as a pro-people and pro-environment.
