142 OFWs granted amnesty in UAE back in PHL
A total of 142 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) granted amnesty by the government of the United Arab Emirates arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday.

Super Radyo dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported on Dobol B sa News TV that the Filipinos arrived 8:55 a.m. aboard Philippine Airlines flight number PR657 from Abu Dhabi.
They were met by authorities from the repatriation assistance division of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Cash assistance worth P5,000 and transpiration allowance were given to the OFWs by OWWA and the DFA, who shouldered their exit fees and airfare.
A total of 9,088 OFWs granted amnesty in the Middle East have been repatriated as of Friday. — Rie Takumi/RSJ, GMA News
