13 Pinoy kids greet Pope Francis in Washington

Thirteen Filipino-American children were among those who greeted Pope Francis during his visit to Washington, DC on September 24 (US time).

According to the Philippine Embassy in the US, the 13 were selected out of 137 through a lottery system.

- Alyssa Laluces.

"The names were drawn by Ambassador Jose L. Cuisia, Jr., the embassy said.

The embassy said Pope Francis, who is on a six-day visit to the US, greeted the Filipino contingent outside the Vatican Embassy. —KBK, GMA News
