Defending six-time women's champion San Sebastian and San Beda scored contrasting wins over separate opponents in Friday's 87th NCAA women's volleyball action at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Gym. The Lady Stags swept the Jose Rizal University Lady Bombers, 25-20, 25-10, 25-22, while the Red Lionesses posted a thrilling 25-22, 24-26, 24-26, 25-19, 15-8 decision against the Arellano Lady Chiefs.
