Slideshow: Agony in Iligan

Iligan City has always been proud of its abundant water, especially its famed waterfalls, a prime tourist attraction.  But on December 16 and 17, unusually high rainfall from Tropical Storm Sendong caused deadly flash floods in Iligan City. Waterways overflowed and killed hundreds of unsuspecting residents who were fast asleep in their homes. Witness the devastation in this set of photos submitted by YouScoopers.
