Lone 6-digit lotto bettor wins P10.4-M in last draw of 2011

A single lotto bettor will start 2012 as a millionaire after winning P10.4 million in the last lotto draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office for 2011.   The PCSO said the winner got the combination of 3-5-0-2-4-0 in the 6-digit draw Saturday night to win the jackpot of P10,438,234.   However, no one was lucky enough to get the P66,396,088.80 jackpot in the Grand Lotto draw, where the winning combination was 22-50-26-41-51-07.   As in the past, the PCSO is not not expected to divulge the winner's identity for security reasons.   Last November, two lotto bettors became P67.312 million richer after they split the P134.625-million jackpot in the PCSO's Grand Lotto draw with the winning combination of 01-55-11-03-27-49.   On Nov. 23, a lone winner from Luzon won P93.522 million richer after hitting the jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto draw. The lucky bettor got the combination of 45-36-37-25-10-30 to win.   In October, three winners shared a P94.987-million prize after hitting the Superlotto 6/49 jackpot.   On Sept. 28, a lone winner became P72.538 million richer after winning the Grand Lotto draw.   In August, a lone winner from Luzon became more than P142 million richer after hitting the Grand Lotto jackpot of the PCSO.   A lone winner got the P106.844-million jackpot in the Superlotto 6/49 draw last July 26.   Last June 29, a lone winner got the winning combination of 03-18-30-40-06-29 to win the P65,188,047.60 pot.   But the biggest lotto prize in recent history was still in November 2010, when a lone bettor won some P741.176 million for getting the winning combination: 11-16-42-47-31-37 — ELR, GMA News
