Help NASA design a new project logo

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Tournament Lab and Freelancer.com launch a logo design competition open to graphic designers around the world.

The goal of the NASA In-Space Manufacturing Logo Challenge is looking for an emblem that will convey the key theme of space exploration and on-demand space manufacturing and repair.

The winning logo will be used in NASA’s In-Space Manufacturing project, which provide on-demand, sustainable operations during in-transit and on-surface space explorations. The project is a baby step towards realizing a “machine shop” in space, which is vital in enabling component of any deep space exploration.

The logo will also be used in presentation materials for the project, educational materials and in team items including shirts and mugs.

The winner will receive a $300 cash prize and fame—sort of.
