Cloudy skies, isolated rains across PHL this Tuesday


The Philippines is up for cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms this Tuesday, April 25, as a developing tropical depression (TD) in the Pacific is still too far away to directly affect the country.

PAGASA is currently monitoring the TD, which may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) late Monday or early Tuesday morning. It will take on the local name, "Dante".

As of 5 p.m. Monday, PAGASA posited the TD some 1,460 km east of Visayas, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and usts of up to 65 kph. It was moving west-northwest at 18 kph.

The TD is still too far away to directly affect the country.
