Light to moderate rain expected over Visayas areas, Mindanao

Mindanao, the Eastern and Central Visayas, Negros Island, and Palawan will experience cloudy conditions and light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, PAGASA said in a Sunday morning forecast.

A high pressure area ridge will meanwhile affect northern and Central Luzon, with partly cloudy to cloudy conditions and isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms expected over the rest of Luzon.

Winds will be light to moderate from the east to southeast over northern and Central Luzon, and from the east to northeast over the rest of the country.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. — DVM, GMA News
