Scattered rain expected over south Luzon areas, the Visayas

The Bicol and Caraga Regions; the Eastern and Central Visayas would experience cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, PAGASA predicted in Saturday morning forecast.

The Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Regions, Aurora, and Quezon would also be cloudy with scattered rain, but this time due to the northeast monsoon.

The northeast monsoon would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions and isolated rain over Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of the Calabarzon.

The rest of the country would meanwhile be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Over the Visayas and Mindanao, winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast with coastal waters also to be from moderate to rough. — DVM, GMA News
