Overcast weather in many parts of PHL

The northeast monsoon will affect northern and central Luzon on Thursday while the tail-end of the cold front will affect the eastern section of southern Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning weather forecast.

With the tail-end of the cold front, Quezon, Mindoro, Bicol region, and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora will have cloudy skies and scattered rains brought about by the northeast monsoon.

Also due to the effects of the northeast monsoon, Metro Manila, Ilocos region, and the rest of central Luzon and CALABARZON will be cloudy with isolated rains.

Meanwhile, Mindanao, the rest of MIMAROPA and the rest of the Visayas will be cloudy with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The coastal waters in Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to rough. In Mindanao, the coastal waters would be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
