Rainy weather mostly in eastern Visayas

The easterlies will continue to affect the eastern section of the country on Friday, the PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

The regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol, eastern and central Visayas, northern Mindanao, Davao and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The residents in these areas are warned on the possibility that there would be flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

For Metro Manila and the rest of the country, due to localized thunderstorms, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers. Residents too, however, are warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Coastal water conditions in northern and eastern section of Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas and of Mindanao will be moderate to occasionally rough while the waters in rest of the country will have slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
