Light to heavy rain expected over the Eastern Visayas, Caraga

The Eastern Visayas and Caraga Regions would experience cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Tuesday morning forecast.

The Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative, and Bicol Regions, as well as Aurora and Quezon, would also be cloudy skies with scattered rain, but this time due to the northeast monsoon.

The northeast monsoon would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the rest of Luzon; with the rest of the country expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be strong to gale force from the northeast over the eastern sections of southern Luzon and the Visayas, where coastal waters would be rough to very rough.

Over the rest of Luzon and the Visayas, and over the eastern section of Mindanao, winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast with moderate to rough seas.

Winds over the rest of Mindanao would be light to moderate from the northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
