Scattered rains expected in many parts of PHL

The northeast monsoon will continue to affect northern and central Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

The tail-end of a cold front will affect the eastern section of southern Luzon while the trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) will affect the eastern section of Mindanao.

The Bicol Region and the province of Quezon, due to the tail-end of a cold front, will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. The state weather bureau warned the locals of possible flooding or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Caraga and Davao region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA. Residents in these areas are also warned of possible flooding or landslides.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon.
