Yellow rainfall warning up over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite

PAGASA raised the yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, and Cavite at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

This means heavy rainfall measuring 7.5 mm/hour to 15 mm/hour from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Storm Karding has fallen or is expected to fall, and may persist for the next three hours.

Residents in low-lying areas and near river channels were advised to take the necessary precaution for possible flooding.

Zambales, Tarlac, Bataan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Batangas, and General Nakar and Real in Quezon, meanwhile, will have light to moderate with occasional heavy rains in the next two to three hours.

Residents and local disaster risk reduction and management councils were advised to be alert and await the next weather advisory at 2 p.m. —KG, GMA News
