Orange rainfall warning up over Metro Manila and Rizal

PAGASA raised at 12 noon on Saturday the orange rainfall warning over Metro Manila and Rizal.

With this, intense rainfall from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Storm Karding has fallen measuring 15-30 mm/hour.

Residents were advised to take the necessary precautions as flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and near river channels.

Meanwhile, the yellow warning level has been raised over Bataan, Bulacan, and Northern Quezon.

Heavy rainfall measuring 7.5-15 mm/hr is felt in the above areas, with flooding possible in low-lying areas.

On the other hand, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, and the rest of Quezon are experiencing light to moderate with occasional heavy rains which may persist within two to three hours.
