Yellow rainfall warning up over Metro Manila, 4 provinces

A yellow rainfall warning has been raised over Metro Manila and Bataan, Zambales, Batangas, and Bulacan provinces on Monday night.

In its 9 p.m. advisory, state weather agency PAGASA said heavy rains may cause flooding in flood-prone areas in those locations.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains, meanwhile, may affect Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon, which may persist within 2-3 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Heavy to torrential rains have been affecting a large part of Luzon since the weekend, with different weather systems enhancing the habagat. —JST, GMA News
