PAGASA issues orange rainfall warning over Zambales

Weather service PAGASA raised an Orange Rainfall alert, which warns of intense rain (15 to 30 mm/hour) in the next three hours, over Zambales at 7 a.m.-Monday.

Under these conditions, floods were a threat in low-lying and river-channel areas.

A Yellow Rainfall alert, which warns of possible heavy rain (7.5 to 15 mm/hour) in the next three hours, was also raised over Bataan, where flooding was possible in low-lying and river-bank areas.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain was affecting Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas, with these conditions expected to prevail over these areas for three hours. — DVM, GMA News
