ITCZ prevails over most of PHL

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

With this weather system, there will be cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm over MIMAROPA, western and central Visayas, and the Zamboanga Peninsula.

The residents in these areas are warned of possible flooding or landslides due to scattered light to moderate rains and at times heavy rains during thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms as residents have been advised to be vigilant on possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate rains to at times heavy rains.

Coastal water condition in the extreme northern Luzon will be moderate to rough while it will be slight to moderate for the rest of Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. — BAP, GMA News
