Scattered rain expected over Mindanao, the Eastern Visayas, Palawan

Mindanao, the Eastern Visayas, and Palawan could expect cloudy conditions accompanied with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the low-pressure area 195 kilometers east-northeast of Davao del Sur's Davao City, PAGASA reported in a Wednesday morning forecast.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, the Cordillera Administrative, Cagayan Valley, and Ilocos Regions would meanwhile experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied with isolated light rain, but this time due to the northeast monsoon.

The rest of Luzon and the Visayas would partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over northern and Central Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Over the Visayas and the rest of Luzon, winds would be moderate to strong from the east to northeast with moderate to rough conditions over seas.

Finally, winds over Mindanao would be light to moderate from the northeast to northwest with coastal waters expected to be from slight to moderate. — DVM, GMA News
