Class cancellations for Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017


Classes for Thursday, September 21, 2017, have been canceled in several private schools due to the anticipated nationwide rallies following President Rodrigo Duterte's declaration of National Day of Protest.

  • De La Salle Zobel
  • Colegio de San Juan de Letran
  • Technological Institute of the Philippines (Manila and Quezon City)
  • Mapua University (Intramuros and Makati)
  • Centro Escolar University Manila
  • La Consolacion College-Manila (classes and work)
  • Central Colleges of the Philippines-Quezon City (classes and work)
  • University of the East-Caloocan (elementary to senior high school)
  • University of the East-Manila (elementary to senior high school)
  • San Felipe Neri Parochial School (elementary to senior high school)

University of Santo Tomas has also suspended classes for a Day of Mourning following the death of freshman law student Horacio "Atio" Castillo III allegedly after hazing rites conducted by the Aegis Juris fraternity.
