MMDA announces road projects this Holy Week

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Saturday said some projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways are scheduled to take place this Lenten season.

The following projects will start from April 13 to April 16:

Manila:

• Construction of reinforced concrete box culvert located at P. Burgos Street crossing Bonifacio Drive / Roxas Boulevard, Manila

Quezon City First Engineering Office:

• Along EDSA southbound, 2nd lane, between Roosevelt Avenue to Quezon Avenue, Quezon City
• Along Commonwealth Avenue northbound, 4th lane, between Litex Road to Dona Carmen, Quezon City
• Along Quirino Highway between Mindanao Avenue to Araceli Street, 2nd lane, Quezon City
• Along Congressional Avenue Extension between Luzon Street to Tandang Sora Avenue, 3rd lane, Quezon City

Metro Manila First District Engineering Office:

• Along EDSA (SB), 3rd lane - in front of Citynet 1, Mandaluyong City
• Along EDSA (SB), 1st lane - in front of Transcom, Mandaluyong City
• Along EDSA (SB), 1st lane - in front of Lux Center, Mandaluyong City
• Along EDSA (SB), 1st lane - near corner Shaw service road, Mandaluyong City
• Along EDSA (NB), 3rd lane - EDSA Shrine area
• Along C5 Road (SB) - between J. Vargas Avenue to Pasig Blvd., Pasig City

Metro Manila Second District Engineering Office:

• Along C5 Road (SB) Makati / Pasig Blvd. to Commando Link, Makati City

Metro Manila Third District Engineering Office:

• Along McArthur Highway between Cayetano St. to China Bank, 1st lane, Valenzuela City

South Manila Engineering District Office:

• Along EDSA (SB) vicinity from Tripa de Gallina fronting Kabayan Hotel, Pasay City (Drainage project)

Maynilad Water Services Incorporated:

• A. Bonifacio Avenue (NB), 1st lane, near corner Cloverleaf (pipelaying for new water service connection) for Ayala property mall building under construction

The MMDA said the scheduled reblocking projects will be strictly observed in the following schedule:

1st batch Start: April 13, 2017 at 1:00 am

Open: April 15, 2017 at 1:00 am

2nd batch Start: April 15, 2017 at 8:00 am

Open: April 16, 2017 at 5:00 pm
