Motorists urged to take alternate routes due to road repair in QC, Pasig, Manila, parts of EDSA

The Department of Public Works and Highways on Saturday warned motorists about road reblocking being conducted along portions of EDSA and other parts of Quezon City, Pasig, and Manila.

The road works began 11 p.m. Friday and will last until 5 a.m. of Friday.

In Quezon City, road reblocking is being conducted along the south bound lane of EDSA after Scourth Borromeo, beside the MRT Line; as well as the north bound sixth lane from the center island of EDSA near Ayala Trinoma Mall.

The following streets are also undergoing repair:

• General Luis Street (westbound direction)
• Quirino Highway (second lane from the sidewalk)
• Batasan Road (northbound direction)

In Pasig, road repais are also being done on the southbound lane of C5 Road from Lanuza Avenue.

In Manila, road work is undergoing along A.H. Lacson Avenue and G. Tuazon Street.
