Filipino epic film 'Heneral Luna' empty-handed in Asian Film Fest awards

The winners of the 10th Asian Film Festival Awards were announced late Thursday evening with unfortunately no gold for the Philippine entry, ‘Heneral Luna.’

The hit bio-epic by Jerrold Tarrog received two nominations in the technical categories—one for Costume Design and another for Production Design. The film's lead, John Arcilla, also received a nod for his portrayal of General Antonio Luna.
