Kris Aquino ready for James Yap and son Bimby to reconcile

"Queen of All Media" Kris Aquino said she won't prevent her son Bimby when the time comes that he is ready to restore his relationship with his father James Yap.

In a Facebook live video on Father's Day, Kris said she is ready for Bimby and James to reconcile, but that she wants it to happen only when Bimb is prepared for it as well.

"When the time comes you are actually ready, please don't ever feel na si Mama ang nagpe-prevent sayo. Don't feel na I'm the one...it's out of loyalty for me or anything like that because your Mama is ready...I'm okay," Kris said in the video. 

Kris said that while thinking things through, she realized Bimby is lucky to have his father alive. Now, it's James decision whether or not to reach out to their son.

"For your Mama I had a lot of reckoning and I had to realize that you're lucky that your dad is alive and it's up to him now. I hope that he will reach out, but I'm also not gonna force you to reach out."

"I don't want to reach out," Bimby answered.

When Bimb asked her mom her proudest moment of him, Kris said it was when his son agreed to do the private Father's Day video Kris wanted to send to James.

"So I was asking you, something we could do privately, a Father's Day video that I wanted to send your dad, and I knew you did it because I asked you, because I really want peace but I also saw how much you couldn't handle it after so it will come, okay," Kris said.

"And that was my proudest moment because you tried and as far as mama is concerened, the very fact that you tried is more than enough," Kris told Bimby.

"I didn't try," Bimby began reasoning out, "I did it." 

"But you cried an hour after that and I know how much it hurt," Kris said.

Kris said when he saw how hard it was for Bimb to make the video, she decided to let his son decide whether or not he wants to make amends with his father. "Hindi pa tayo handa or hindi ka pa handa. So I'll give you that. You deserve that," she added.

"I'm telling you. I'm not forcing you. Sinasabi ko sa iyo na na-realize ng mama mo yun. Maraming natutunan ang mama mo this whole month that passed."
