Iya Villania renews contract with GMA Network, thanks the Kapuso network for the 'good work-life balance'

Iya Villania is not done delighting millions of viewers every weeknight on "Chika Minute."

The lovely and wacky television personality renewed her contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, saying it was a place where she found the perfect balance to work and family life.

"In the four to five years that I've been here, I love that GMA has allowed me to enjoy a good work-life balance. I get to enjoy being a mom, I get to enjoy being a wife, I get to enjoy being an athlete — wow, athlete! — on top of enjoying the work that I do here," Iya told reporters at the signing.

Present during the ceremony were GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon, GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, and GMA AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Lara.

Iya came home to GMA Network as a full-time Kapuso in 2014.

The Australian-Filipino beauty has been the host of the "Chika Minute" segment of GMA News program "24 Oras" for almost five years now.

Since Kapuso viewers just can't get enough of Iya's fun energy, it looks like we'll get to see a lot more of her bright smile and goofy dancing on air.

Aside from 24 Oras, viewers can catch her during the daytime as she co-hosts family-oriented program lifestyle magazine show "Mars Pa More!" with Camille Pratz.

Iya also loves to share super cute content of her family life with husband GMA News and Public Affairs host Drew Arellano, and their sons Primo and Leon.

Being her usual bubbly self at the ceremony, Iya said: "(I have) two kids. Three, including Drew, ang panganay ko. And that really is what's important to me, and I wanna thank GMA for that." — LA, GMA News
