Hayden's buddy linked to spread of sex videos

MANILA, Philippines – Katrina Halili on Thursday confirmed before the Optical Media Board (OMB), an agency handling the investigation of pirated compact discs, that she met a certain Eric Chua, supposedly a close friend of Hayden Kho who was responsible for the proliferation of their sex videos in the Internet. In an interview with GMA News’ Ivan Mayrina, OBM chair Edu Manzano said Halili went to his office to seek help. Manzano refused to divulge details of their conversation. But he said the embattled actress confirmed OMB’s suspicion that Kho’s friend could be behind the spread of the video. “It was uploaded by a certain gentleman. His name... what was fed to me as Eric Chua. And I spoke to Ms. Halili today and she [said] she knows Eric Chua, who apparently was very close to Mr. Kho," Manzano said. GMA News tried but failed to get Chua’s side. The OMB chief said they received an information last April that a copy Halili’s sex video was being sold for P2 million. "It's very very possible that Cua had somebody who was familiar with the place go around and peddle the material," Manzano said. Manzano said it was not yet clear how Chua got hold of the video but they have been receiving reports on Chua’s motive for spreading it. However, it’s yet to be confirmed, he said. The OMB is also looking for a certain Lawrence Tiu, who according to Manzano is notorious for video piracy, and his friend, identified only as Arjie Alay. Aie Balagtas See, GMANews.TV
