Bb. Pilipinas titlist Gersbach buried in Pampanga

A week after she was killed in a road accident in Bicol, 2009 Bb. Pilipinas titlist Melody Gersbach was laid to rest in Pampanga province before noon Saturday. Gersbach's remains were buried at 11:30 a.m. at the Holy Mary Memorial Park in Angeles City, according to a report on Balitanghali.
Friends and relatives, including Miss Universe fourth runner-up Venus Raj, attended a funeral mass at 9 a.m. They released blue balloons into the air after the burial. "Alam ko naman pong maligaya si Mel kung nasaan man siya ngayon. It's a big loss sa family pero eventually makakayanan nila iyan (I know Mel will be happy wherever she is now.
