Vic Sotto is Metro Manila Film Fest box-office king

It looks like Vic 'Bossing" Sotto will once again rule the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). His film, Enteng Kabisote 3: Okay Ka Fairy (The Legend Goes On And On And On) is consistently topping the box-office ranking among the nine official entries in this year's annual film festival. This is according to Ric Camaligan, a member of the MMFF executive committee. As reported by GMA-7's primetime newscast, 24 Oras, Enteng Kabisote 3 has already amassed P39 million during the first three days (December 25-27) of the MMFF. This makes Enteng Kabisote's three-day gross almost P15 million higher than its nearest competitor. Coming in second is Star Cinema's Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo, starring real-life sweethearts Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, at P24.5 million in three days. Regal Entertainment's Shake, Rattle & Roll 8 is currently in third place, with a three-day gross of P16.6 million. In fourth place is another Regal entry, Super Noypi, with P8 million. Not far behind is Canary Films' Matakot Ka Sa Karma, which has raked in P7.9 million. Two other Regal entries, Mano Po 5: Gua Ai Di and ZsaZsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh, are in sixth and seventh place, respectively. Mano Po 5's three-day haul is P5.7 million, while ZsaZsa Zaturnnah has earned P5 million so far. Cesar Montano's Ligalig is in eighth place with P2.5 million, and at the tail end of the competition is the Lito Lapid-starrer Tatlong Baraha from Viollett Films, with P2 million. This ranking is expected to change after the announcement of winners in tonight's MMFF Gabi ng Parangal, which will be held at Aliw Theater at the Cultural Center Complex. The night's awards traditionally boost the box-office appeal of the MMFF entries. - Philippine Entertainment Portal
