Ito ang pahayag ng Parkoya ni Edgar songwriter-vocalist na si Chito Miranda ukol kay Jessica Sanchez.   Ayon sa ulat ni Melba Llanera ng Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), hinahangaan ni Chito ang American Idol finalist na si Jessica Sanchez, ngunit hangang-hanga rin ito sa talento ng kalaban nitong si Phillip Phillips.   Wika pa ni Chito, "Ako, sobrang bilib ako kay Jessica Sanchez, but just like in our music, mas gusto kong manood ng Urbandub or Rico Blanco kaysa kay Sarah Geronimo, pero mahal na mahal ko si Sarah."   Dagdag pa nito, "Yung mga magagalit sa akin na mga Jessica Sanchez fans, sila yung mga di tumatanggap ng opinion ng ibang tao."   Si Jessica Sanchez at Phillip Phillips ang magtutunggali sa finale ng ika-11 na season ng American Idol ngayong Miyerkules (Huwebes sa Pilipinas) kung saan magtatanghal ng tatlong awitin ang bawat kalahok para sa finale.   Sa Huwebes (Biyernes sa Pilipinas) naman malalaman ang panalo sa naturang singing competition.   Gayundin, Gusto rin ni Chito na manalo si Jessica Sanchez sa season finale American Idol.   Aniya, "Sobrang overwhelming yung talent niya, puwede siyang manalo, gusto ko siyang manalo, pero di naman kailangan siyang manalo kasi she’s an artist naman more than an American Idol."   Maliban kay Chito Miranda, nagbigay din ang Malacañang ng opisyal na pahayag ukol sa pagiging kalahok ni Jessica Sanchez bilang finalist ng 'American Idol'.   "Excellence knows no boundaries.
