Carmina, Zoren open to working with Rustom

Carmina Villaroel and her life partner Zoren Legaspi have expressed their willingness to work on a project with the former's ex-hubby, Rustom Padilla. It was Padilla who first made public his desire to be reunited in a project with Villaroel, possibly to be directed by Legaspi. The couple had no objection to the idea. Legaspi said he was willing to direct any project starring the two. "Walang problema sa kin basta yung mga artista willing to work with me," he remarked. "He's serious about his craft and I'm also serious about my craft so magkakatugma kami." Villaroel, on the other hand, said: "It's not a big deal to me." She wondered why such project could spark a controversy, "Nauna ko na malaman bago pa malaman ng lahat," she said, referring to Padilla's being gay, which he made public only last year. Villaroel pointed out that past is past and that both Padilla and her are now living their own lives and moving on after a bitter separation almost five years ago. The two got married in civil rites on June 24, 1998. After several months, Villaroel filed a petition to annul their marriage. The Pasig Regional Trial Court annulled the marriage in June 2002. After a while, Villaroel and Legaspi became a couple. They now are now blessed with twins. - GMANews.TV
