SexBomb Girls back in Eat Bulaga!

The SexBomb Dancers will be seen once again in Eat Bulaga!, not as guests but as regular cast members of the noontime show on GMA-7. A source disclosed that Joy Cancio, the group's manager, has already signed a deal with the management of TAPE Inc. for the comeback of the popular all-female sing-and-dance group on Eat Bulaga!. It can be recalled that the SexBomb Girls and their manager had a rift with Malou Choa-Fagar, one of Eat Bulaga's producers, and even stood up a special presentation of the show, when Sugar Mercado, a newly-hired member then, was promoted heavily. Joy decided to pull the group off the show as a sign of protest and disagreement from the way the other girls were being treated—that of being demoted to be a backup of Sugar. That incident also triggered speculations that the group is being hired by ABS-CBN for Wowowee, Eat Bulaga's rival show. Joy denied the report. After a series of auditions to look for replacement for the SexBomb Girls, the EB Babes was formed. Later on, Joy extended an apology to Ms. Choa-Fagar that paved the way for SexBomb to return in Eat Bulaga!, first as guests. But now, it seems inevitable that the all-female group return as regulars to the show where they started their careers. Some insiders say that the return of the SexBomb Girls on the show is a move to regain Eat Bulaga's claim as the number one noontime show in the country. For weeks now, its rival program, Wowowee of ABS-CBN, has been clobbering Eat Bulaga! at the ratings. The Sexbomb Girls also have a top-rating afternoon drama show on GMA-7 titled Daisy Siete. - Philippine Entertainment Portal
