The Medyo Late Night Show With Jojo A.

Nagsimula itong umere sa Kapuso Network noong January 6, 12:30 AM. Mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes mapapanood ang naturang late night show.

Ang talk show na ito ni Jojo ay unang napanood noong 2005 sa RJTV channel with the title Jojo A. All The Way.

Lumipat sa QTV Channel 11 noong 2007 ang show and it was retitled The Medyo Late Nite Show With Jojo A. All The Way.

In 2009, on the show’s 8th season, lumipat ang show sa TV5 at binalik ito sa original title na Jojo A. All The Way.

Para sa TV host, isang magandang homecoming ang pag-ere ng kanyang talk show sa Kapuso network dahil nagbabalik lang daw siya sa TV station kunsaan una siyang nakilala via the teen-oriented variety show na That’s Entertainment in 1986.

“It feels great to be with GMA-7 again. This is where I really started.

“Kahit na palipat-lipat tayo ng TV network dahil nagkakaroon tayo ng trabaho sa ABS-CBN 2 at TV5, still, Kapuso pa rin tayo all the way.

“If many can still remember, before That’s Entertainment, lumalabas at sumasayaw na ako with my dance group, The Tigers, sa Penthouse Live nila Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez. That was way back in 1982.

“Doon ako nakilala kaya ako kinuha ni Kuya Germs [German Moreno] to be part of That’s Entertainment.

“I was one of the original hosts there together with Lea Salonga, JC Bonnin, Ramon Christopher, Lotlot de Leon, Ian Veneracion, Manilyn Reynes, Sheryl Cruz, Tina Paner, Lovely Rivero, Gigi dela Riva, the late Francis Magalona at marami pang iba.

“Gano’n na tayo ka-relic sa GMA-7 kaya naman I am so blessed and very thankful that I was given this chance to be with the TV station where I truly belong.

“It’s a new home for the new year para sa show namin,” pahayag pa ni Jojo nang makapanayam namin siya via private messaging sa Facebook last January 6.

Sa pagpasok ni Jojo sa late night block ng GMA-7, makakatutunggali niya sa titulo bilang King of Late Night Shows ay sina Kuya Germs (Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman) at Tim Yap (The Tim Yap Show).

“Uy, wala namang competition sa amin. Para sa akin, si Kuya Germs lang ang King of Late Night Shows.

“Hindi lang dahil sa malaki ang utang na loob natin kay Kuya Germs, but I’ve always been a big fan of Kuya Germs dahil ang kanyang show ay pinapanood talaga kahit sa ibang bansa.

“At saka, magkaiba naman ang format ng shows namin. Yung show naman ni Kuya Germs is really for entertainment. Yung kay Tim Yap din, entertainment din pero mas intimate. Itong show namin is news-infortainment.

“I’m not denying the fact that our show is patterned sa mga late night shows in the U.S. like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The David Letterman Show and The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

“Pero ang concept naman ng show since hindi naman kahabaan ang oras namin, we make it simple yet entertaining and informative.”

Dream Guests

“Kahit sino naman yatang TV host would want to have our President PNoy bilang guest.

“I would like to know more about him, his plans for our country and kung hindi naman nakakahiya, tatanungin ko rin siya about his lovelife!” tawa pa niya.

“It’s nice to have people from showbiz, politics and business to sit down and talk about what’s keeping them busy. But ordinary people with interesting stories to tell can be very inspiring.

“So we are not limiting our guest, we are open to anybody who has a story to tell where our audience can learn from and be inspired.

“Ang bida sa show namin ay ang uupong guest at hindi ako.

“It's a real genuine people’s show and we thrive in spontaneity.

“And it’s a show that praises God nightly on air.” -- Ruel J. Mendoza, PEP
