Billy Crawford charged with malicious mischief, disobedience to person in authority
(Updated 11:05 a.m.) TV host-actor Billy Joe Crawford was brought to the Taguig Prosecutor's Office on Monday morning and charged with malicious mischief and disobedience to a person in authority, a day after he was arrested for an incident at a police precinct.
Crawford was escorted into the prosecutor's office, with media not allowed to enter, radio dzBB's Mao dela Cruz reported.
Crawford spent Sunday in detention after being arrested for a row at a Taguig police precinct where he allegedly punched a desk officer and damaging a police precinct's glass door.
Crawford's lawyer Jose Aspiras said the bail was "minimal."

But Aspiras also said that as far as he knew, Crawford did not hit anyone during Sunday's row.
"As far as I know, wala namang sinapak," he said.
Earlier, a photo tweeted by GMA News' Victoria Tulad showed Crawford wearing a polo shirt and glasses, on his way to the Taguig RTC to undergo inquest proceedings there.
