MMDA executive director Naomi Ilagan announced the revised list of movies competing in this year's MMFF:

Some of the movies have also change the lead actors, including Nilalang that originally cast Robin Padilla as lead actor. Hermano Pule was supposedly to be starred by John Prats and Karylle while Haunted Mansion's former lead actors were Marlo Mortel and Jerome Ponce.

The film festival starts yearly on December 25, Christmas Day.

Ilagan said this year's entries are better than last year's and they expect bigger gross sales.

"As usual inaasahan natin na every year ay mas magaganda at magagaling ang mga lumalahok na pelikula, palaki nang palaki ang gross sales," she said. —ALG, GMA News
