Kanye West in Manila for Paradise International Music Festival

American hip hop star Kanye West arrived in Manila early Saturday to perform at the Paradise International Music Festival in Parañaque City.

West's flight arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at past 1 a.m.

West will headline the music festival at the Aseana City open grounds in Parañaque City tonight.

This is West's first time to perform in the Philippines.

Tickets to the festival was at P14,500 for VIP and P7,000 for general admission.

West, husband of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, rose to prominence in 2004 with the release of the critically acclaimed album "College Dropout." —ALG, GMA News
