The actress turned emotional as she addressed the crowd.
"Thank you, unang una sa mga nandito pa kagabi. Nakita ko sa Twitter ang daming nagaabang kanina," she said.
Maine met hundreds of her fans and signed more than 500 copies of her book, but hundreds more voiced their support from outside the event's venue and from other floors of the mall.
Fans had painstakingly lined up for the event, some even forgoing sleep to wait outside Trinoma beginning the night before.
Marites David, 58, who is part of the Aldub Fans Club Philippines, said that some of their members had been lining up since 11pm, Wednesday.
She said the crowd started to thicken at around 3am.

The book launch was scheduled at 5pm. When the event was delayed, the crowd chanted "We want Maine!"
David said they consider Maine and Alden Richards as "royalty" among the other love teams out there.
She added that she loved Maine because she was down to earth.
