Kristine Hermosa set to make TV comeback via GMA-7 show with Oyo Sotto

Kristine Hermosa is set to return to television after taking a break in showbiz.
This time, she will be seen on GMA-7 when she is paired with real-life husband Oyo Sotto in the upcoming sitcom Hay, Bahay.

This was announced along with other upcoming Kapuso shows through GMA’s official social media accounts.

The new sitcom is topbilled by Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas, with Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola completing the cast members.

The program will start airing on June 19 and will replace Vic and Oyo’s sitcom Vampire ng Daddy Ko.

A known Star Magic talent, Kristine started her career in ABS-CBN and was included in the cast of the youth-oriented series Gimik.

In 1998, she was given a vital role in the miniseries Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako, where she was paired with Marvin Agustin.

In the year 2000, she was given her big break on television when she topbilled the ground-breaking series Pangako Sa ‘Yo. The show popularized her tandem with Jericho Rosales, and they were paired anew in two more drama programs: Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas in 2004, and Dahil May Isang Ikaw in 2009.

Kristine also did several teleseryes in the Kapamilya network, mainly: Til Death Do Us Part, Gulong ng Palad and Prinsesa ng Banyera where she first worked with Oyo.
Kristine was also paired with Oyo in the afternoon series Precious Hearts Romances presents Lumang Piso Para sa Puso, which aired for three weeks.

Her last teleserye was the 2010 fantasy-drama series Noah, wherein she worked with Piolo Pascual, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Zaijian Jaranilla.

She was also last seen as a guest in Vampire ng Daddy Ko.

Kristine also posted a teaser of this new sitcom on her Instagram account (@khsotto).
