Petron Blaze Boosters import Renaldo Balkman seemed like the perfect fit for the team, giving his side hustle, energy and leadership. But the NBA veteran showed a more violent side, Friday, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, in a loss to the Alaska Aces. [Related: Balkman goes bonkers as Alaska downs Petron] Late in the game, Balkman went wild with the Aces pulling away, making contact with referees while arguing for a foul. As his teammates tried to pull him away, Balkman shoved Ronald Tubid, and then put a hand around Arwind Santos' neck. Alaska would go on to win 83-73, but the feat was lost in the wake of what had happened. One thing's for sure, after a few games of relative peace and calm, the Petronovella is back on.
