PBA releases 2013 Governors' Cup schedule

The PBA released the schedule for the 2013 Governors' Cup on Thursday, publishing it on their Facebook page.

The tournament, which was pushed back this year to give way to Gilas Pilipinas training and the FIBA Asia Championship, which Manila is hosting, will start on August 14, Wednesday, at the Mall of Asia Arena, with a 5:15pm match between the Air21 Express and the GlobalPort Batang Pier, and a 7:30pm showcase game featuring the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the San Mig Coffee Mixers.

September 1, Sunday, will see a rematch of the 2013 Commissioner's Cup Finals, between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, and the champion Alaska Aces, also at the MOA Arena.

On the other hand, the 2012-13 Philippine Cup rematch between the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, will be on September 18, Wednesday at the Cuneta Astrdome.

The conferences closes out on September 22, Sunday, at the Mall of Asia Arena, with the Air21 Express tangling with the Alaska Aces at 4:15pm, while Barangay Ginebra San Miguel closes out the tourney's elimination round versus the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters at 6:30pm.
